Intro to Project
The Nowhere Room is a podcast focused on exploring myths both true and false in Los Angeles’ film industry from the perspective of writers. The Nowhere Room is the liminal space in which these myths permeate as before they are verified as true or false.
Color Palette & Typography
The color palette for the logo and the brand is simple and modern. With no frills or accent colors, the palette focuses audiences on the content of the brand itself. With a serif font for headers, the website’s blog acts as a modern typewriter, creating a timeless space for myths to to be unwritten.
Logomark
For this hand-drawn logo, I wanted to create a literal representation of “nowhere” through the use of negative space in the key design for the logo mark. Playing with different reference images, I started drawing an assortment of keys, modern and old, to see which fit most with the vision for the brand.
